CURICULUM VITAE
Emmanuel (Manos) Souvaltzis, son of Demetrious, was born in the Port of
Vathy, on the island of Samos. He graduated from the Pandeios Supreme School
of Political Sciences, and graduated in Law at the University of Athens.
He has conducted research into the history of Law, and has specialized in
the Hellenistic period.
He embarked on a career as a lawyer, and was appointed to the Court of First
Instance, he became an advocate following the steps of his father's tradition,
as an advocate too. The law office of his father was established in the island
of Samos in 1927 and later on in Athens in 1957. He was promoted to the position
of Lawyer at the Court of Appeal (US Attorney at Law) in 1978, and to Advocate
at the Supreme Court (Areos Pagos) in 1986.
His office is located in the historical center of Athens, is fully wed enabled,
with email and a complete collection of books. Mr. Souvaltzis specializes
in matters of civil, commercial, administrative, and tax law. The Law office
of Emmanouel D. Souvaltzis has a successful collaboration with other Law offices
in Greece and Abroad such as in Europe, Cyprus, U.S.A., Africa, Australia.
He is a member of the Athens Bar Association, member and legal representative
for the Greek Mission at the tomb of Alexander the Great at the Oasis of Siwa
in Egypt, member of the Institute for Hellenistic Studies and member of the
Hellenic Maritime Museum.
He has participated in international seminars, congresses and conferences
both in Greece and abroad and presented papers on matters of legal and historical
interest.
